These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the Silverhill Cheese online shop. By using our website and placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. General
Silverhill Cheese is based in Wellsford, Auckland, New Zealand.
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with the effective date.
2. Products
All our cheeses are handmade in small batches. As a natural product, variations in flavour, texture, and appearance may occur.
Product weights are approximate; slight differences may occur due to the handmade nature of our products.
3. Orders & Payment
Orders can be placed through our online shop.
Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering or by bank deposit prior to shipping unless otherwise agreed.
We accept major credit/debit cards via secure payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) and direct bank deposit.
Prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST (if applicable).
4. Shipping & Delivery
We currently deliver within New Zealand only.
Orders are dispatched on selected days to ensure freshness and avoid weekend delays.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Additional fees may apply for rural delivery addresses.
Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to courier delays beyond our control.
We are not responsible for delivery issues arising from incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
5. Refunds & Returns
Due to the perishable nature of cheese, we cannot accept returns.
If your order arrives damaged, spoiled, or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos, and we will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
Refunds are at the discretion of Silverhill Cheese and may take up to 7 working days to process.
6. Allergens & Dietary Information
Allergen information is provided on product pages. Most of our cheeses contain milk, cultures, and vegetarian rennet.
Our products are gluten-free unless otherwise stated.
Customers are responsible for checking product information before purchase.
7. Liability
Silverhill Cheese is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
8. Privacy
We collect and use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By placing an order, you consent to us processing your personal information for order fulfillment and communication.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
